What on earth is the sensor for that is mounted half way up the speedo cable???
It has got stuck, and now the cable has broken.

Can it be opened/repaired/made going again?

I didn't know any Gamma had sensors on the speedo cable.
Do you have an aftermarket cruise control ?

Interesting!
I do have aftermarket cruise control, but installed that myself and this sensor has nothing to do with it.
