What's the black textured material that encases some of the Gamma's metal coolant pipes?  It's white when chipped away, almost like an insulation.  I'd like to replicate some of the areas where it has fallen off completely.   .. Thanks much.

I don't think anyone would know these days,
I suspect it is something similar to modern stonechip.

Hi, I did mine with satin hammerite which seems to work fine so far
